Responsibilities
- Lead daily toolbox meetings to communicate safety protocols and updates, ensuring team engagement and awareness.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory workplace safety and health requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct thorough safety inspections to identify hazards and implement corrective actions promptly to mitigate risks.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety rules and regulations to foster a culture of safety and prevent accidents.
- Maintain, update, and securely retain all relevant safety records and certificates in accordance with regulatory authority requirements.
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Qualified Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Coordinator certification under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Workplace Safety & Health, preferably within the construction industry.
- Demonstrate readiness to commence work on short notice or immediately.
