Location: Singapore (with on-site support at vessels and port terminals)
Salary Range: SGD 3,800 - 4,800 per month
Benefits: 13th-month bonus, OT claimable (time-off in lieu or 1.5x pay), 14 days annual leave

Job Description

We are looking for a Safety Coordinator to support workplace safety and regulatory compliance for robotic ship-cleaning operations. This role involves safety coordination, documentation, permit support, training assistance, and on-site safety monitoring in maritime environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site safety inspections at vessels and terminals

  • Support preparation and maintenance of Risk Assessments and safety documentation

  • Assist with permit applications and coordination with relevant authorities

  • Support safety onboarding, briefings, and toolbox meetings

  • Assist in emergency preparedness, drills, and incident response

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), or related fields

  • At least 2 years of experience in a safety-related role

  • Possession of at least one relevant safety certification (e.g. bizSAFE Level 2 or above, First Aid, Confined Space Safety)

  • Able to communicate effectively in English for work coordination and documentation

  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage

  • Comfortable working in outdoor, dockside, and vessel environments

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 12:00pm / 1:30pm - 6:30pm

  • Saturday: 9:00am - 12:00pm

  • In accordance with MOM working hour guidelines (up to 44 hours per week)

Career Progression

  • Candidates with stronger experience may be considered for senior or supervisory safety roles, subject to assessment
