EHSS -Environment, Health, Safety and Security

. Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) - identification and analysis of workplace hazards,training and education of personnel, documentation, audits, etc.

. Conduct risk assessment to all routine and non- routine activities of company operations

. Ensure the implementation of appropriate risk controls at all times

. Provide regular updates on the implementation status to the management

. Inform all workers of the nature of risk involved and control measures required to mitigate the risk

. Maintain Risk Assessment (RA) Records for 3 years and review RA

. Safety Orientation for New Hires

. Sharing information, suggestions and observations through safety trainings/briefing to create consistency in safety standards

. Conducting factory and dormitory inspections to ensure facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations to protect employees, customers and environment

. Propose and follow-up on corrective action(s) to rectify safety lapses

. Safety Programmes

. Establish and implement safety programmes byworking together with external safety officer and other stakeholders (i.e. HR and Operations) to raise safety awareness among workers

. Monitor the effectiveness of the safety programmes and report the performance to management.

. Accident/Incident Reporting & Investigation

. FirstAid

. Render first-aid treatment to injured employee/ worker as necessary

. Maintain the first aid treatment log

. Conduct monthly first aid box inspection to check for the expiry date and adequacy of content

. Lifting Operations

. Supervise the lifting operations to ensure that all lifting operations (i.e. in-house gantry crane and external lorry crane) are carried out in a safe manner

. Issue necessary PPE to all workers and request workers to sign- off during issuance

. Mandatory Safety Certification/ Licenses Renewal

. Ensure all safety certification/ licenses are renewed and with valid validity

. Ensure all mandatory machinery/ equipment are inspected and tested at defined interval by Authorized Examiner/ Professional Engineer as requested by law
