Job Description

  • Coordinate and implement workplace safety and health (WSH) programs.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies and government regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain safety documentation, records, and reports.
  • Conduct safety inductions for new employees and visitors.
  • Organize and coordinate toolbox meetings and safety training sessions.
  • Carry out risk assessments and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare investigation reports.
  • Monitor the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure of safety issues.
  • Assist in developing and reviewing Safe Work Procedures (SWPs) and Risk Assessments (RAs).
  • Coordinate emergency response plans, fire drills, and evacuation exercises.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety-related matters.
  • Ensure all safety equipment, fire extinguishers, and first aid supplies are properly maintained.
  • Support workplace safety audits and inspections conducted by internal and external parties.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and encourage employee participation in safety initiatives.
