Safety Coordinator (Geotechnical works)

Job Description

• Assist in implementing Workplace Safety& Health (WSH) policies, procedures, and compliance on site
• Conduct daily site inspections and ensure adherence to safety regulations
• Identify unsafe practices and recommend corrective actions
• Support Permit-To-Work (PTW), Risk Assessment (RA), and Safe Work Procedures (SWP)
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and audit records
• Participate in toolbox meetings, site audits, and incident investigations
• Liaise with project teams and relevant stakeholders on WSH matters
• Supervise daily geotechnical rig operations and site activities
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, and work sequence on site
• Ensure works are carried out inaccordance with method statements and project requirements
• Monitor site progress and report to Project Engineers
• Ensure both safety and productivity targets are met

Requirements

• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health (WSHC)
• Open to candidates with no prior experience (training will be provided)
• Candidates with relevant experience maybe offered higher starting salary
• Hands-on, willing to work on-site andtake up operational responsibilities
• Good attitude, responsible, and able towork independently
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills
• Possess own transport (motorcycle preferred)
• Candidates able to perform full dual-role (WSH + Rig Supervision) will be offered allowance from $600 to $1000.
• On-the-job training provided
• Stable career in geotechnical works with multi-skill exposure
