SAFETY COORDINATOR

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Coordinator to ensure workplace safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years of experience, relevant safety certifications, and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

. Implement and enforce workplace safety procedures in compliance with local regulations and company policies.

. Conduct risk assessments, job safety analysis (JSA), and hazard identification to prevent workplace accidents.

. Ensure compliance with WSH Act, MOM, NEA, SCDF and other relevant regulatory requirements.

. Perform safety inspections, audits, and investigations, and recommend corrective actions.

. Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and training sessions to employees and subcontractors.

. Assist in incident reporting, root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.

. Maintain proper documentation of safety records, permits, and certifications.

. Coordinate with site management and stakeholders to ensure a safe work environment.

. Promote a safety-first mindset among all employees and subcontractors.

Requirements:

. Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry.

. Possess relevant Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) certificates, such as WSH Coordinator Certificate, Safety Supervisor Course, or equivalent.

. Familiar with risk management, permit-to-work systems, and workplace safety standards.

. Strong knowledge of Singapore's WSH regulations and compliance requirements.

. Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees at all levels.

. Ability to work on Jurong Island (Transport arrangements may be provided).

. Physically fit and willing to work on-site from Monday to Saturday.
