Assist the occupier of the worksite to identify any unsafe condition in the worksite, unsafe work practice which is carried out in the worksite
Recommend to the occupier of the worksite to implement such reasonably practicable measures to remedy the unsafe condition, unsafe work practice
Enter, inspect and examine at any reasonable time the worksite
Inspect, examine any machinery, equipment, plant, installation, article in the worksite
Require the production of worksite records, certificates, notices and documents kept or required to be kept under the Act, including any other relevant document, and to inspect and examine any of them
Make such examination, inquiry of the worksite of any person at work at that worksite as may be necessary to execute his duties
Assess the level of noise, illumination, heat, harmful, hazardous substances in the worksite and the exposure levels of persons at work therein
Investigate any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational disease that occurred within the worksite.
Job requirements:
Minimum GCE O Level with a pass in English
WSQ Certificate in WSH (Level B)
First Aider Certificate
WAH Assessor's Certificate
At least 2-3 years experience as Safety Coordinator in Oil& Gas, Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical Industries
