Inspects work site conditions to ensure all work activities are compliant with safety directives.
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly safety inspection and make recommendations on safety measures or method to improve the work.
Ensure timely submission and proper filing of safety records/documents, such as daily toolbox meeting, mandatory safety equipment maintenance/inspection record, etc.
Assist in accident/incident, dangerous occurrence or occupational disease that occurred within the worksite and implement mitigating measures.
Implement, maintain, monitor and evaluate the Health and Safety Program at site.
Report on employee concerns and suggestions for improving the safety of the work site to HSE Department.
Communicate the existence of potential hazards to the work team and Contractor's workers.
Maintain relevant HSE related documentation and records.
Assist in conducting safety induction training and related HSE briefing.
Assist in emergency response and provide first aid guidance.
Other duties as specified in WSH Act and Regulations or duty assigned by WSH Officer.
Requirements
WSQ Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) is mandatory.
WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (SDWSH) qualification is desirable.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in LTA Railway related project.
Able to conduct training session.
Knowledge of ConSASS, ISO45001, ISO 14001 and bizSAFE Certification desirable.
Advance Certification on Training and Assessment qualification desirable.
Willing to perform rotational day and night shift work.
