Job Description
The successful candidate will be part of the Safety Training Department within Flight Operations Division.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct SEP courses for Pilots and Cabin Crew of SIA and any other operator as decided by the Company.
- Conduct Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) courses for Pilots and Cabin Crew of SIA and any other operator as decided by the Company.
- Prepare SEP and DGR training materials, training aids, assessment forms and test questionnaires.
- Perform any other duties as required.
Requirements
- Interested applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a crew member or previous experience as a safety training instructor. The experience should be acquired within the last 5 years from the date of application.
- Applicants must have a good command of spoken/written English and have excellent presentation skills. Applicants with training and checking experience preferred.
- Applicants should also have the required competencies in demonstrating and conducting physical activities like slide jumping, jumping into a swimming pool, boarding of a slide-raft from the pool and firefighting. Applicants must be prepared to perform any other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirement For Shortlisted Candidates During Interview
- Conduct a 5-minute presentation on an aviation-related topic (preferably a SEP-related topic) A room with an instructor / facilitator station (with a PC connected to a projector) will be provided.
