Role Description

A SaaS Product Manager oversees the strategy, development, and lifecycle of software-as-a-service (SaaS) products. This role involves defining product vision, gathering requirements, working closely with engineering and design teams, and ensuring successful product delivery and adoption. The SaaS Product Manager also analyzes market trends, customer feedback, and business goals to drive product improvements and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define product vision, roadmap, and strategy for SaaS products
  • Gather and prioritize product requirements from customers, stakeholders, and market research
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality features
  • Monitor product performance, usage metrics, and customer feedback
  • Identify opportunities for product improvements, new features, or enhancements
  • Conduct competitor analysis and market research to inform product decisions
  • Ensure timely product releases and alignment with business objectives
  • Prepare product documentation, specifications, and presentations for stakeholders
  • Support customer onboarding, adoption, and success initiatives
  • Act as the main point of contact for cross-functional product communication
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
  • 25 years of product management experience, preferably in SaaS or software products
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models, cloud technologies, and product lifecycle
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to translate customer needs into actionable product requirements
  • Familiarity with product management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello, or similar)
  • Customer-centric mindset with an eye for UX/UI and product usability
