Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore for a ROV Pilot. The ROV Pilot will operate remotely operated vehicles for hull cleaning and underwater inspection tasks, following project plans and safety procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre- and post-dive equipment checks, monitoring ROV systems during operations, and performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting on ROV and support equipment. The role involves coordinating with subsea engineers and diving teams, capturing and documenting inspection data, and preparing clear operational reports for clients and project managers. The ROV Pilot will also support mobilization and demobilization activities, assist in planning subsea operations, and adhere to all relevant offshore safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Subsea Engineering and a strong understanding of underwater systems and ROV operations.
  • Candidates should possess Diving-related knowledge and experience working with or alongside dive teams in marine environments.
  • Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of ROV and associated equipment.
  • Candidates should possess BOSIET or equivalent offshore safety certification and a solid grasp of offshore safety practices.
  • Candidates should possess Inspection skills for conducting visual and video inspections, interpreting subsea conditions, and documenting findings.
  • Relevant experience in marine, offshore, or subsea operations is highly beneficial.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work safely in challenging environments.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site and offshore.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including offshore or vessel-based assignments when required.
  • Technical diploma or degree in engineering, marine technology, or a related discipline is an advantage.
