Clean guest floors and surrounding service areas in line with established hotel cleanliness standards.
Welcome and acknowledge guests encountered on the floor, ensuring they feel cared for, even when not servicing their rooms.
Verify room status reports and update room statuses accurately.
Clean, inspect, and release rooms to Vacant / Clean status following hotel procedures, ensuring all assigned rooms are completed within the allocated time.
Attend to all guest requests efficiently and professionally.
Ensure the safety and security of guests personal belongings at all times.
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of floor pantries, ensuring items are neatly stored.
Take responsibility for the care and maintenance of the work store, trolley, and all equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage at the end of each shift.
Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any defects promptly.
Use cleaning products correctly, following prescribed dosages and conditions of use.
Conduct self-inspections using the hotel's internal quality checklist to ensure work meets required standards.
Demonstrate commitment to conserving natural resources and supporting environmental sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel environment.
A diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
Strong guest service mindset with the ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs professionally and warmly.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
