Role Description

This Robotics Intern role is an on-site internship based in Singapore. The intern supports the engineering team in developing, testing, and integrating robotics and automation solutions, including assisting with robot setup, calibration, and performance evaluation. Day-to-day responsibilities may include writing and debugging code for robotic systems, documenting processes, analyzing data from robot deployments, and contributing to improvements in robotic workflows and interfaces. The intern collaborates with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues, refine deployment procedures, and help ensure reliable operation of robots in real-world environments. This role offers hands-on experience with robotics technologies and practical exposure to how robots are deployed and managed in industrial and commercial settings.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundational understanding of Robotics, including robotic systems, sensors, and control concepts.
  • Knowledge of Automation and Process Automation principles for improving efficiency and reliability in robotic workflows.
  • Background in Mechatronics or related fields, integrating mechanical, electronic, and software components in robotic applications.
  • Familiarity with Robot operation, configuration, and safety practices in lab or industrial environments.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C++, or ROS) and comfort working with Linux-based environments are beneficial.
  • Ability to learn quickly, follow technical instructions, and document work clearly and accurately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work hands-on with hardware on-site in Singapore.
