Robotics Intern

About the role

Work with senior robotics developers, product managers and software engineers to help build and test the software that powers Augmentus advanced robotic systems for industrial automation. Contribute to motion control, path planning and integration between software, robots and sensors. (Scoped from the live Robotics Developer role at intern level.)

What you'll do

. Support coding, testing and maintenance of robotic software components and control algorithms.

. Assist with path planning, motion control and kinematics for industrial robots.

. Help integrate software with robot hardware, sensors and actuators.

. Troubleshoot and debug software issues and propose fixes.

. Contribute ideas in architecture discussions and software optimisation.

Requirements

. Pursuing a diploma/degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, EEE, Computer Science or Software Engineering.

. Understanding of robotic principles, kinematics and control systems.

. Programming ability in Python, C++ or ROS.

. Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

Good to have

. Familiarity with robot hardware, sensors and actuators.

. Prior robotics/software project or internship experience.

. Knowledge of software design patterns familiarity with Unity.
