Role Description

A Robotics Engineer designs, develops, and maintains robotic systems and automation solutions. This role involves integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components to build intelligent machines for manufacturing, research, healthcare, or other applications. Robotics Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, test, and deploy robotic solutions that improve efficiency, precision, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement robotic systems and automation solutions
  • Integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components into functional robots
  • Program and test robot software using languages such as Python, C++, or ROS
  • Develop control algorithms, motion planning, and sensor integration
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize robotic systems for performance and reliability
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams on project requirements
  • Conduct simulations, modeling, and validation of robotic processes
  • Research emerging robotics technologies and recommend improvements
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and quality guidelines
  • Document designs, processes, and test results for internal and client use
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechatronics
  • 25+ years of experience in robotics design, development, or automation projects
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java
  • Experience with robot operating systems (ROS) and simulation tools
  • Knowledge of control systems, sensors, actuators, and embedded systems
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional engineering teams
  • Familiarity with CAD tools, robotics hardware, and automation systems
  • Knowledge of AI, machine learning, or computer vision is a plus
  • Passion for innovation and developing advanced robotic solutions
