Robotics Engineer

We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer (Robotics) for our global MNC project on a one-year extendable contract. Ideal candidate will have experience with Robotics Arms Pick and Place.

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in wafer handling robots, robot teaching/programming, end-effector design, and mechanical system integration within semiconductor environments. The role involves developing and optimizing wafer handling robotic systems, performing robot teaching, calibration, and motion tuning, designing custom end effectors, and integrating robots with process chambers, load ports, aligners, and EFEM modules while ensuring precision, repeatability, and cleanroom compliance. You will collaborate with electrical, controls, and software teams, support system testing, commissioning, and customer SAT, and prepare technical documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with 5+ years of experience in semiconductor automation and motion control systems, strong knowledge of robot teaching, precision mechanical design, Creo CAD, tolerance analysis, and SEMI standards. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated professional who thrives in fast-paced NPI environments and communicates effectively in cross-functional and customer-facing settings.
