Robotics Engineer/Contract/West

Job Summary
We are seeking a Robotics Engineer skilled in C++, Python, and ROS 2 to develop industrial robotics software for one of our esteemed clients. You will work on multi-robot systems using RMF and gain hands-on experience with advanced robotics technologies. This position is perfect for early-career engineers eager to grow their expertise in cutting-edge robotics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and research robotic software packages using the ROS framework, including RMF multi-agent path planning, simulation, perception, and motion planning.
• Conduct application-driven robotics research for industrial automation with ROS2.
• Collaborate with UI vendors to build frontend solutions for multi-robot fleet management.
• Deploy and manage robotic fleet systems in cloud or on-premise environments.
• Apply systems engineering principles to translate requirements, validate systems, and manage project documentation and presentations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree in Robotics, Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 0-3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in C++ and Python and experience with ROS2 (baseline expectation)
• Prior experience with RMF and RMF deployment/integration with external UIs is highly encouraged
• Familiarity with SDLC, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of robotics concepts (manipulation, navigation, fleet management, simulation) and software systems integration, architecture, and communication protocols.

Desired Skills

• Experience in applying or developing AI technologies in robotics and using ROS libraries.
• Skilled in managing projects and stakeholders from requirements to deployment.

• Salary Range: S$3,000 - S$4,500
