The Robotic Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, programming, and repairing robotic systems and automated equipment used in manufacturing or production environments. This role ensures optimal robot performance, minimal downtime, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Install, configure, and commission industrial robotic systems.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and programming issues.
Modify and optimize robot programs to improve cycle time and efficiency.
Conduct root cause analysis on robotic failures and implement corrective actions.
Calibrate sensors, vision systems, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and safety devices.
Support production teams during breakdowns and minimize downtime.
Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Assist in new equipment installations and process improvements.
Train operators on basic robotic operation and safety procedures.
