About the Role
The Road Freight Operation Executive will be responsible for driving customer satisfaction, retention, and engagement while managing road freight operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention and engagement
- Communicate with our customers in executing road bookings.
- Coordinate with vendor, warehouse, and transport companies for all operational activities on daily basis.
- Arrange trucking, routing, and scheduling to meet delivery timelines.
- Monitor shipment progress and ensure timely pickup and delivery.
- Provide shipment updates, resolve issues, and manage customer expectations
- Ensure full compliance with all applicable Customs and port regulations.
- Handle customs permit declaration on Tradenet
- Maintaining and updating operational information and documents on CargoWise
- Create, update and refine customer reports
- Plan, coordinate, and execute daily road freight operations within Singapore and cross-border (e.g., Malaysia and Thailand)
- Generating road freight invoices
- Collaborate with finance in monitoring credit limits and assist in case of challenges
- Support and resolve claims
- Accomplish other ad hoc tasks given by the Manager per his/her competence
- Ensure compliance with the established QMS requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years relevant experience in Freight Forwarding operations
Required Skills
- Problem-solving and multitasking ability
- Experienced in Cargowise is a plus
- Reliable, positive working attitude, pro-active and customer service oriented.
- Is a good team player, willing to share/help
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Freight Forwarding operations
