Opportunity: Risk Manager (12-Month Contract)
We are partnering with a leading insurer to hire an experienced Risk Manager to support both insurance and reinsurance entities within a regional risk function.
This is a high-visibility role with strong exposure to senior leadership, Executive stakeholders, Board-level reporting, and MAS regulatory engagement. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting and enhancing the overall risk management framework across the business while working closely with Group Risk, senior management, and various business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance the overall enterprise risk management framework across insurance and reinsurance entities
- Manage and monitor risk registers, risk appetite frameworks, policies, controls, and governance processes
- Support ORSA preparation, risk assessments, and risk reporting activities
- Drive RCSAs, controls monitoring, and operational risk management initiatives
- Prepare and present risk reporting materials for Executive Committees and Board-level meetings
- Partner closely with Group Risk, senior management, and business stakeholders across the organisation
- Support MAS regulatory engagement, governance requirements, and compliance-related activities
- Provide oversight and challenge across business risk and control environments
- Assist in strengthening governance frameworks and risk management practices across the entities
Requirements
- 6-8 years of relevant experience within insurance risk management
- Strong experience implementing risk management frameworks including ORSA, RCSAs, policies, and controls
- Strong knowledge of MAS insurance regulations and regulatory engagement
- Proven ability to manage senior stakeholders with exposure to Executive and Board-level reporting
- Experience within insurance or reinsurance environments is highly preferred
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
