About Our Client
Our client is a reputable MNC within the insurance industry, specialising in providing risk management and advisory services to the construction sector. With a strong presence in APAC, they cater to a wide range of clients requiring expert guidance on complex infrastructure projects.
Job Description
- Plan and conduct risk management surveys for construction clients across Asia, especially for Civil Projects
- Lead site surveys, including planning logistics, managing survey teams, and delivering reports on time
- Support insurance underwriting activities for construction projects
- Provide technical advice to clients through meetings, seminars, and renewal presentations
- Manage annual survey plans for large regional clients
- Prepare Deep Dive Reviews and Loss Estimations related to asset integrity, inspections, maintenance, operations, and process safety
- Support fee collection for risk engineering services
- Provide technical support to the Claims team when required
- Stay current through technical training, seminars, and conferences
- Contribute to thought leadership (technical papers, newsletters, and events)
- Identify and deliver consulting and business development opportunities
- Support tender and proposal submissions for clients and prospects
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline
- At least 8 years of experience in the construction sector (Hands-on experience from Contractor side is perferred)
- Confident in presentations and leading workshops
- Able to work independently
- Willing to travel frequently (Around 60 days annually on working days)
