Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer due diligence in line with exchange and regulatory requirements; verify authenticity, completeness and compliance of customer identity, address, source of funds and supporting documents.
  • Validate customer information against official records, automated screening and third-party verification to ensure legality and accuracy.
  • Investigate and escalate suspicious transactions and abnormal customer profiles for AML monitoring and reporting.
  • Support internal risk, legal and external regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Enter review results into the customer management system accurately and timely; maintain data integrity and security.
  • Periodically check document validity, manage updates and ensure proper archiving.
  • Identify high-risk customers and abnormal documents; prepare daily, weekly and special review reports and issue risk alerts.
  • Assist in optimizing review processes, standards and operating guidelines; provide training on documentation and compliance requirements for new joiners.

Requirements

  • College diploma or above; Finance, Law, Auditing, Accounting or related preferred.
  • 2 years of working experience in customer documentation review, KYC/AML, risk control or compliance; familiarity with global financial regulations.
  • Proven hands-on experience in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) is mandatory.
  • Proficient in MS Office and internal management systems (Excel, databases, etc.).
  • Strong logical thinking, detail-oriented, able to handle high-volume repetitive tasks.
  • Good communication and cross-team collaboration skills with risk, legal and customer service teams.
  • High level of confidentiality, responsibility and compliance awareness.
  • CET-6 or equivalent English proficiency; able to work rotating shifts (three-shift system).
  • Industry certifications (banking/securities/fund) or AML/KYC qualifications (e.g., ACAMS) are a plus.
