About the job

This is a pivotal role where you will support the regional risk framework and ensure all business activities align with the highest regulatory compliance standards.

• Support the development and enhancement of the regional Enterprise Risk Management framework and risk appetite monitoring.

• Maintain comprehensive risk profiles and perform deep-dive analyses to facilitate informed business decision-making.

• Act as a key point of contact for compliance matters, including financial crime, sanctions, and anti-money laundering monitoring.

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure all regulatory requests and returns are completed accurately within stipulated deadlines.

• Promote a strong risk-aware culture across the organization through training and active engagement with various business units.

Skills and experience required

The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to governance and a deep understanding of the insurance regulatory landscape.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related professional discipline.

• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience within the insurance or reinsurance sector.

• Solid understanding of local regulatory requirements and MAS guidelines.

• Direct experience in Enterprise Risk Management, financial crime compliance, or sanctions monitoring.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex business priorities.
