Job Description

We are hiring a Risk & Requirements Customer Service Specialist to support complex and sensitive user inquiries within a fast-paced digital platform environment. This role focuses on handling escalated cases related to data privacy, account security, and compliance, while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and policy-aligned resolutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for sensitive user inquiries related to data privacy, account security, and compliance matters
  • Manage complex and escalated cases beyond standard customer support scope with professionalism and discretion
  • Collaborate with internal legal, compliance, and cross-functional teams to ensure all responses align with regulatory and company policies
  • Investigate user-reported issues such as account access concerns, suspicious activities, and account-related requests
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all cases to support audit and compliance requirements
  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Public Policy or a related field is preferred
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in risk operations, compliance, trust and safety, or handling escalated customer support cases. Strong fresh graduates with relevant internships may be considered
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to handle sensitive andconfidential information
  • Sound judgment and ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when managing complex or high-pressure cases

Language Requirements

  • This role supports a regional user base within APAC including Greater China and works closely with internal stakeholders, including Mandarinspeaking Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams, on sensitive account, privacy, and compliance matters. Mandarin proficiency is required to ensure accurate communication, minimize miscommunication risk, and maintain a high standard of user experience and compliance.
