We are seeking an experienced Risk Analytics & Reporting Manager to lead risk analysis and reporting functions for our Risk Management team in Singapore. This role is critical in transforming complex risk data into actionable insights for senior management, board committees, and regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive risk reporting across all risk types while maintaining compliance with MAS regulations and international banking standards.

Responsibilities:

Risk Reporting & Analytics

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-wide risk dashboards and reports covering credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and liquidity risk
  • Produce daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly risk reports for senior management, Board Risk Committee, and regulatory submissions
  • Manage the bank-wide ICAAP exercise and stress testings.
  • Lead ad-hoc risk analysis support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all risk reporting outputs
  • Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

Regulatory Compliance & Submissions

  • Prepare regulatory returns and submissions to Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)
  • Ensure compliance with MAS Regulations (Risk Management Practices), Basel III/IV requirements, and IFRS 9 reporting standards
  • Liaise with regulators during examinations and respond to information requests
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on reporting requirements
  • Maintain documentation for audit and regulatory review purposes

Data Management & Governance

  • Collaborate with IT and Data Management teams to enhance risk data infrastructure
  • Implement data quality controls and validation frameworks
  • Define and maintain risk data dictionaries and metadata standards
  • Identify and resolve data gaps, inconsistencies, and reconciliation issues
  • Drive adoption of best practices in risk data governance

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Partner with business units, finance, and compliance to understand risk data needs
  • Present risk insights to senior management and board members in clear, concise manner
  • Mentor and develop junior analysts in the risk reporting team
  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance risk reporting capabilities
  • Serve as subject matter expert on risk reporting systems and methodologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field (required)
  • Professional certifications (FRM, PRM, CFA, CPA) highly desirable
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in risk management, risk reporting, or regulatory reporting within banking or financial services
  • Proven track record in Singapore banking environment with MAS regulatory exposure, preferably in wholesale lending
  • Experience with Basel III/IV, IFRS 9, and MAS regulatory reporting frameworks

Technical Skills

Required

  • Advanced SQL — Complex queries, data extraction, transformation
  • Data Visualization — Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik (expert level)
  • Microsoft Excel — Advanced modeling, VBA, pivot tables
  • Regulatory Knowledge — MAS regulations, Basel frameworks, IFRS 9

Preferred

  • Programming — Python (pandas, numpy) or R for statistical analysis
  • BI Tools — Experience with enterprise BI platforms

Analytical & Technical

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret complex risk data and translate into business insights
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques
  • Understanding of risk methodologies (VaR, stress testing, scenario analysis, ECL)

Communication & Leadership

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present complex information to non-technical audiences
  • Strong stakeholder management across all organizational levels
  • Team leadership and mentoring capabilities
