About the Role
We are expanding our Global Risk function and are looking for a motivated Risk Analyst to support real-time and end-of-day risk monitoring across our high-frequency and mid-frequency trading strategies. This role sits at the intersection of trading, quantitative research, and technology, offering exposure to how risk is managed in a fast-paced proprietary trading environment.
This is a great opportunity for early-career candidates who enjoy working with data, solving quantitative problems, and operating in a technically demanding environment.
What You'll Do
- Monitor intraday and end-of-day risk metrics across strategies, symbols, and markets.
- Support analysis of P&L drivers, exposure changes, and risk events.
- Prepare daily risk reports for senior stakeholders.
- Assist in maintaining limit frameworks, alerts, and workflow processes.
- Perform data investigations and post-trade analysis using large datasets.
- Work closely with technology, trading, and compliance teams to improve monitoring tools and risk infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a quantitative, engineering, or data-focused role (internships included).
- Strong programming skills in Python familiarity with SQL or C++ is a plus.
- Interest in financial markets, market microstructure, and algorithmic trading.
- Comfort working with large datasets and analytical tools.
- Clear communication skills and strong attention to detail.
Bonus Points
- Experience with real-time systems, trade data, or risk metrics (e.g., exposures, drawdowns, scenario analysis).
- Prior exposure to proprietary trading, exchange mechanisms, or risk monitoring environments.
