Job Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Revenue Operations Senior Manager to join EnerVenue, a leader in the energy storage industry. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the entire revenue lifecycle — spanning marketing, sales, commercial execution, contracting, customer onboarding, delivery coordination, and customer success (after-sales).
The ideal candidate will serve as a strategic and operational partner to the CRO and cross-functional leadership teams, ensuring alignment across go-to-market functions, improving revenue visibility and forecasting accuracy, optimizing systems and processes, and enabling scalable growth across the organization.
This role is critical in bridging strategy and execution across the commercial organization, creating a unified revenue engine that improves pipeline generation, deal execution, customer experience, retention, and long-term revenue growth in the dynamic energy storage sector.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Operations & Commercial Process Management
• Own and optimize end-to-end revenue operations processes across the full customer lifecycle, including lead management, demand generation handoff, opportunity management, quoting, contracting, order processing, onboarding, renewals, and customer expansion activities.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable revenue processes, workflows, governance models, and operational best practices across marketing, sales, delivery, and customer success teams.
• Drive operational alignment between commercial functions to ensure seamless customer journey management and revenue realization.
Revenue Analytics, Forecasting & Insights
• Develop and maintain revenue reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs across the entire revenue funnel, including pipeline health, conversion rates, bookings, forecast accuracy, customer retention, expansion revenue, and revenue productivity metrics.
• Analyze revenue and operational data to identify trends, bottlenecks, risks, and growth opportunities; provide actionable recommendations to leadership.
• Lead revenue forecasting processes in partnership with sales leadership, finance, and delivery teams to improve predictability and visibility across short-term and long-term revenue planning.
• Support executive-level reporting for CRO leadership reviews, board updates, and strategic planning activities.
Systems, Tools & Data Management
• Own and manage the commercial systems ecosystem, including CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), CPQ tools, reporting systems, and revenue process automation platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy, governance, system adoption, and process compliance across all customer-facing functions.
• Drive CRM optimization, workflow automation, system integrations, and reporting enhancements to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to evaluate and implement new tools and technologies that support revenue growth.
Cross-Functional Revenue Enablement
• Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, finance, supply chain, project delivery, legal, and customer success teams to streamline cross-functional processes and remove operational bottlenecks.
• Support go-to-market initiatives including new market expansion, product launches, pricing strategies, channel partner programs, and strategic commercial initiatives.
• Develop and maintain sales and revenue playbooks, operational documentation, KPI definitions, and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate onboarding and enablement initiatives for commercial teams to ensure consistent process adoption and operational excellence.
Strategic & Operational Excellence
• Identify opportunities to improve commercial productivity, customer experience, and revenue scalability through process redesign, automation, and operational discipline.
• Support territory planning, account segmentation, capacity planning, incentive tracking, and resource allocation initiatives.
• Lead ad-hoc strategic projects and operational improvement initiatives assigned by the CRO and commercial leadership team.
• Establish a culture of data-driven decision-making and operational accountability across the commercial organization.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 5 to 10 years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business operations, commercial operations, or related go-to-market operational roles.
• Experience supporting multi-functional commercial organizations across sales, marketing, customer success, and delivery operations.
• Experience in the energy storage, renewable energy, power, infrastructure, or industrial technology sectors is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of B2B enterprise and project-based sales cycles, preferably within complex technical or infrastructure-driven industries.
• Proficiency in CRM and revenue systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho), including reporting, workflow configuration, dashboard creation, and data management.
• Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills and experience building operational and executive-level reporting.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on operational efficiency, process scalability, and data accuracy.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of operating independently in a high-growth environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building or scaling revenue operations functions in a high-growth B2B organization.
• Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, territory planning, and revenue intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with CPQ systems, sales automation tools, and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of marketing automation and customer lifecycle platforms (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, HubSpot Marketing Hub).
• Experience working with complex commercial models involving EPCs, utilities, distributors, channel partners, or strategic accounts.
• Certifications in CRM or revenue systems (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, HubSpot Revenue Operations Certification) are a plus.
• Understanding of energy storage market dynamics, commercial project execution, and long-duration energy storage solutions is advantageous.
