Job description/ Responsibilities:You will be responsible for centralized accounting support such as day to day business support for Stores across the Southeast Asia & India territory. You will be part of the Regional Revenue Margin Controlling team based in Singapore.
Scope:Functional Excellence
a. Order to Cash Process execution:
. Ensure all financial data are interfaced accurately and timely into SAP
. Ensure complete and accurate revenue recognition based on transfer of control criteria
. Perform daily sales reconciliations between Point of Sale and SAP accounting system financial postings and investigate/resolve variances
. Manage Gift Card program and related issuance, redemption, and breakage accrual journals
. Review AR balance for aged items and clear open items timely
. Validate payment provider charges/basis
. Meet baseline controls requirements per day-to-day accounting support
b. Timely & accurate internal & external financial reporting:
. Responsible for month-end accounting journals
. Prepare post invoice discounts accrual and utilization journals
. Support Customer Finance related accounting journals
. Support monthly/quarterly reporting including operational controls and reconciliation activities
. Collaborate and support country teams for audit, statutory and tax requirements
c. Perform other duties as assigned or required
2. Partnering Support
a. Cross functional deep dives to resolve operational & interface issues identified
b. Support the implementation and system testing for new initiatives
c. Support centralization and standardization of Balance Sheet reconciliations
d. Growing in the role, you will have the opportunity to provide accounting support for new digital business model.
Requirements:- ISCA/ACCA/CIMA and/or Degree holder in Accountancy with minimum 3 years commercial and/or audit experience
- Meticulous, ability to work independently and possess good problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
