In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of APAC accounts across various countries by renewing, upselling, and cross-selling. You will be proficient across Google Cloud's security product SaaS offerings and effectively represent Google Cloud's full suite of products and services by using technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence clients and grow business.
Qualifications
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve renewal and growth/expansion goals.
- Manage and grow a large portfolio of strategic accounts, and identify and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts for promotions.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate and close agreements, build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and partners.
- Stay up-to-date on a full suite of Google Cloud Security and Mandiant products and services, representing Google Cloud Security at industry events and conferences.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in renewals, account management, sales, or a customer-facing role in the enterprise software or cloud space.
- Experience selling to clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT field.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in securing and growing customer bases, and carrying and exceeding strategic business goals in a sales role.
- Experience in prioritizing, planning, and organizing solution-based sales activity within complex business cycles.
- Experience in building and maintaining long-term executive relationships, ensuring customer success, adoption and expansion.
- Experience working cross-functionally, including account teams, technical leads, procurement, and legal, to inventory software estate, build business cases for transformation and implementation plans, and close large, complex agreements.
- Knowledge of market trends, products, and solutions in cloud and cybersecurity.
- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, communication, presentation and listening skills.
