We are looking for a hands-on Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our mini market. Responsible for ensuring smooth store operations, managing fresh produce (vegetables, meat and fish), and leading a small team to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage opening/closing procedures and ensure store is clean, organised, and compliant with food hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels of dry goods and fresh produce. Perform regular stock-takes and manage wastage.
- Liaise with suppliers to place orders, negotiate prices and verify the quality of incoming deliveries.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally. Assist with cashier duties during peak hours.
- supervise and train retail assistants/cashiers. Manage duty rosters and staff performance
- Ensure all products are correctly priced and attractively displayed to drive sales
