Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Store Operations

  • Oversee daily store opening and closing procedures, including briefings, cash reconciliation, and reporting

  • Plan staff schedules and delegate tasks to ensure smooth store operations

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe retail environment

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and loss prevention measures

  • Support product launches, promotions, and in-store activities

Customer Experience & Sales

  • Lead by example in delivering excellent, friendly customer service

  • Advise customers on baking ingredients, tools, and basic recipes

  • Handle escalated customer feedback and resolve issues professionally

  • Drive sales through active engagement and upselling

Team Leadership & Development

  • Train and onboard retail staff on SOPs, store processes, and product knowledge

  • Coach and motivate team members to achieve sales and service targets

  • Support a positive and collaborative team environment

Inventory & Merchandising

  • Ensure shelves are well-stocked, visually appealing, and aligned with promotions

  • Conduct regular stocktakes to maintain inventory accuracy

  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stock-outs

  • Manage returns, damaged goods, and inventory discrepancies

  • Support merchandising initiatives to maximise sales performance Store Operations Management

  • Oversee daily store opening/closing, including daily briefings, cash reconciliations and end-of-day reports.

  • Manage scheduling and task delegation to store's retail team for productive management of operations.

  • Maintain a clean, tidy store environment that complies with retail hygiene & safety standards.

  • Enforce company policies and loss-prevention measures.

  • Coordinate with HQ on product launches, demos, and exclusive promotions.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Knowledge of POS systems and retail software.

  • Strong operational and organisational skills

  • Passion for customer service and retail excellence

  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team

  • Good understanding of sales, merchandising, and inventory management

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment

  • Interest in baking or food retail is a plus

  • Able to carry load 10kg and above.

  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and holidays.
