Job Scope
- Oversee daily operations of the aquarium retail shop to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
- Supervise and guide retail staff, ensuring product knowledge, service standards, and performance are maintained.
- Handle opening and closing duties, cash management, POS operations, and daily sales reporting.
- Maintain proper shop presentation, cleanliness, and upkeep of livestock tanks, aquatic plants, and aquarium displays.
- Monitor livestock wellbeing, water quality, and stock conditions, coordinating care schedules where required.
- Manage inventory, conduct stock checks, and coordinate replenishment of livestock, plants, and products.
- Assist customers with aquarium setup advice, product recommendations, and troubleshooting.
- Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Support sales promotions and overall store performance.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements
- Prior experience in retail supervision or a senior retail role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of aquarium care, livestock handling, or aquascaping is must. (training will be provided).
- Strong understanding of retail operations, customer service, and sales processes.
- Comfortable working in an environment with live aquatic animals.
- Physically fit to handle retail tasks, including stock handling and tank maintenance.
- Willing to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays if required.
