Job Summary

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring efficient store management, good customer service, and smooth coordination with management and suppliers. The role includes supervising staff, managing inventory and stock purchases, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring accurate sales reporting and cash management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily retail store operations to achieve efficient workflow and high customer satisfaction
• Supervise and develop store staff to foster effective teamwork and deliver consistent service quality
• Manage inventory control by receiving stock, verifying invoices, and confirming quantities to maintain accurate stock levels
• Coordinate with suppliers to plan and execute timely stock purchasing and replenishment
• Resolve customer enquiries and feedback promptly to enhance customer experience and loyalty
• Monitor daily sales transactions and ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation
• Prepare and maintain daily sales reports and cash banking records to support financial accuracy
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize product displays, and ensure overall store presentation aligns with brand standards
• Collaborate closely with management to optimize store operations and drive business performance

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management role
• Proficient communication skills in English and Mandarin to effectively engage with customers and team members
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills to guide and motivate staff
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently with responsibility and accountability
