Based at one outlet, with occasional relief duties if required.
Outlet allocation will be determined based on manpower needs.
Working days/hours: 5-day work week, generally 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM (varies by outlet)
Pay: $3200 - $4000
Job scope:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction and optical measurements, to assess visual acuity and identify eye conditions.
- Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment such as slit-lamp biomicroscopes, fundus cameras, OCT, tonometers, and visual field analysers.
- Recommend appropriate optical solutions, including spectacles and contact lenses, based on assessment findings and patient needs.
- Educate patients on vision care, eye health, and proper contact lens handling and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and adjust spectacle fittings and ophthalmic lenses to ensure optimal comfort and vision.
- Refer patients to ophthalmologists for further assessment and management when necessary.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including eye health documentation and purchase history.
- Manage inventory of contact lenses, trial lenses, and related optical supplies.
- Ensure diagnostic equipment and optical tools are properly maintained and operational.
Requirements:
- Min NITEC/Diploma/Degree in Opticianry
