Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable Retail Operations Manager to oversee and drive the performance of multiple retail outlets. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end retail operations, optimizing store performance, ensuring operational efficiency, and implementing strategies to enhance revenue and customer experience. The candidate will play a key role in standardizing processes, improving productivity, and supporting the company's expansion and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily operations across multiple retail outlets, ensuring consistent execution of company standards and operational procedures
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve sales performance, cost efficiency, and overall profitability
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales revenue, inventory turnover, shrinkage, and store productivity
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock planning, replenishment, and minimizing wastage or stock discrepancies
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels, staff performance, and workforce planning across outlets
  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency in store operations and customer service
  • Identify operational gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality
  • Coordinate with procurement, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure smooth product flow and availability
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including hygiene, safety, and licensing standards
  • Handle escalated operational issues, customer complaints, and risk management matters
  • Support new store openings, including setup, staffing, and operational readiness
  • Prepare and present operational reports, performance analysis, and strategic recommendations to management

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Retail Management, or related field
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in retail operations, preferably in multi-outlet environments
  • Strong experience in managing store operations, inventory control, and staff supervision
  • Proven track record in improving operational performance and achieving sales targets
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Skills

Experience in retail chains dealing with daily-use or essential products

Knowledge of retail systems, POS operations, and inventory management tools

Strong commercial awareness and business acumen

Experience in expansion or multi-store operations management
