About Us

DONG (formerly known as SEK GAM DONG, https://www.sekgamdong.com) is a brand incubation and market-entry platform focused on bringing high-potential Asian consumer and retail brands into new markets. We are the sole distributor of Milky Shop, a Korean confectionery brand, in Asia (e.g. Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia etc) and are expanding our portfolio to include other premium Asian brands.

We are currently scaling Milky Shop into Singapore, covering pop-up stores, mall activations, retail operations, and brand partnerships. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, hands-on individual who understands the Singapore retail landscape and can help take our brands from concept to on-the-ground execution.

Job Details

. Location: Singapore
. Employment Type: Full-time
. Reporting Line: Founder / Director
. Focus: Retail brand launch, market entry, and operations in Singapore

Key Responsibilities

. Lead the market entry and expansion of Milky Shop in Singapore across both retail and e-commerce channels
. Plan and execute retail brand activations, including pop-up stores, mall activations, and brand collaborations
. Manage and grow Milky Shop's e-commerce presence (Lazada, Shopee, own website, or other platforms)
. Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with shopping malls, landlords, retail partners, and e-commerce platforms
. Support and oversee day-to-day retail and online operations, including staffing, logistics, inventory flow, pricing, and execution standards
. Provide local market insights on consumer behavior, pricing, product mix, and promotion strategy across channels
. Work closely with Hong Kong and Korea teams to ensure brand consistency and smooth execution
. Track sales performance, costs, and activation effectiveness across retail and e-commerce, and report regularly to management

Requirements

. Minimum 2 years of experience in retail and/or e-commerce in Singapore, preferably involving retail operations, brand activation, or online sales
. Strong understanding of the Singapore retail and mall ecosystem, plus familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Lazada, Shopee, etc.)
. Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-moving, early-stage setup
. Comfortable working independently while coordinating with multiple stakeholders
. Strong communication skills in English Chinese is a plus
. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident only

Nice to Have / Strong Advantage

. Prior experience launching or supporting new brands entering the Singapore market across retail and e-commerce
. Background in F&B, confectionery, dessert, or lifestyle retail brands
. Experience managing e-commerce stores on Lazada, Shopee, or other platforms, including inventory management and performance optimization
. Familiarity with shopping mall leasing structures, including short-term leases and pop-up store agreements
. Understanding of basic retail P&L, margins, and cost structures across channels
