Retail Operation Manager

Job Description

Lian Hua Chun Fruits is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Operation Manager to oversee the operations of multiple fruit and vegetable retail outlets. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring efficient outlet operations, maintaining inventory control, and leading retail teams to achieve excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of multiple fruit and vegetable retail outlets.

- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

- Ensure proper inventory management, stock replenishment, stock rotation, and minimise wastage of perishable products.

- Coordinate with suppliers and purchasers to ensure adequate supply of fresh fruits and vegetables.

- Lead, supervise, train, and evaluate outlet managers and retail staff to maintain high performance standards.

- Develop and implement operational policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and service quality.

- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer feedback or operational issues.

- Conduct regular outlet inspections to maintain cleanliness, food hygiene, product quality, and workplace safety standards.

- Plan manpower requirements, staff scheduling, and deployment across outlets.

- Prepare sales, inventory, and operational reports for management review.

- Monitor operating expenses and implement cost-control measures while maintaining operational effectiveness.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant Singapore regulations relating to retail operations and food safety.
