The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing the store team. This role plays a key part in achieving business goals, maintaining brand standards, and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales targets and develop strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Drive initiatives to improve footfall, conversion rates, and average transaction values at the store level.
- Manage the day-to-day store operations to ensure a seamless and smooth customer experience
- Collaborate with buying and merchandising team to curate product ranges that align with customer needs and preferences.
- Drive the successful execution of seasonal campaigns and promotional activities at the store level
- Oversee store inventory levels and ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy by monitoring, scheduling and ordering inventory as required
- Maintain outstanding store conditions and work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to optimize displays in-store
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management
- Knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and sales techniques.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
