Retail Commercial & Performance Manager
The Retail Commercial & Performance Manager is responsible for driving commercial strategy, financial performance, and operational optimisation across the company's retail operations portfolio. The role focuses on revenue growth, data-driven performance management, and commercial planning to enhance profitability and operational scalability across multiple retail locations.
Develop and implement commercial strategies to improve sales performance, profit margins, and overall business growth.
Analyse multi-location retail sales data, customer behaviour, and operational trends to identify performance gaps and growth opportunities.
Establish and monitor KPIs, financial metrics, and performance dashboards to support data-driven management decisions.
Conduct pricing analysis, product mix planning, and commercial evaluations to optimise revenue and operational efficiency.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reviews in collaboration with senior management.
Identify cost optimisation opportunities through procurement planning, supplier evaluation, and commercial negotiations.
Prepare business performance reports, commercial reviews, and strategic recommendations for executive management.
Support business transformation initiatives and operational improvement projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and procurement to enhance business performance.
Monitor industry benchmarks, retail market trends, and competitive positioning.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Retail Management, or related discipline.
Minimum 6-8 years professional experience in commercial management, retail analytics, business performance management, or financial operations.
Proven experience in financial analysis, KPI development, and performance improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with commercial decision-making capability.
Experience overseeing multi-location retail operations or structured commercial environments.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate with senior leadership on business planning and strategy.
Corporate-level role influencing commercial strategy and business performance.
Responsibility for analysing and improving performance across multiple retail locations.
Direct contribution to revenue growth, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability.
Monthly Salary Range: SGD $6,000 - $9,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications).
Employment Type: Full-time professional / managerial role.
Work Arrangement: Office-based with regular visits to retail operations for performance reviews
