Job Summary:
The Channel Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with retail distribution partners across Singapore, focusing on smaller distributors. The role requires a strategic approach to partner management, sales execution, and market expansion, ensuring the effective positioning and growth of consumer surveillance and networking solutions through these retail channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to grow sales through retail distribution partners across Singapore.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with small to medium-sized retail distributors, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Collaborate closely with retail distributors to achieve sales targets, driving product adoption and increasing market share.
- Provide training, product knowledge, and ongoing support to channel partners to ensure effective sales and promotion of surveillance and networking solutions.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities within retail distribution segments.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute tailored promotional campaigns, marketing materials, and sales support initiatives.
- Monitor and assess the performance of retail channel partners, offering insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with retail distributors to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collect and relay feedback from retail partners and customers to the product development team for continuous product and service improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail channel management, sales, or business development, preferably in the ICT industry or related fields (e.g., home automations residential surveillance, routers, switches).
- Proven experience managing relationships with small to medium-sized retail distributors.
- Good understanding of the consumer technology and surveillance solutions market is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Diploma or higher qualification preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally to meet channel partners and attend industry events.
