Retail Associate

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Retail Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service to create a positive and memorable shopping experience for every customer. You will play a key part in the daily operations of our store, helping to drive sales through your product knowledge and service excellence. Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Sales:

• Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide knowledgeable product recommendations to meet their needs.

• Actively listen to customers to understand their preferences and guide them toward solutions.

• Resolve customer inquiries and issues professionally and efficiently, ensuring high satisfaction.

• Promote store sales, special offers, and loyalty programs at the point of sale.

Sales Floor Operations & Merchandising:

• Operate the cash register (POS system) to accurately process sales, returns, exchanges, and various forms of payment.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor.

• Restock shelves, racks, and displays promptly and according to visual merchandising standards.

• Assist in setting up promotional displays and arranging merchandise to maximize appeal.

Store Support & Team Collaboration:

• Assist with receiving shipments, unpacking, and organizing new inventory.

• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

• Participate in regular inventory counts and support loss prevention efforts.

• Work collaboratively with team members and management to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.

• Basic math skills and comfort with technology (experience with POS systems is a plus).

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, lift, and carry items (up to 5kg).

• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Prior retail experience is preferred but not required-we are eager to train the right person.
