Retail Associate

Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a physical and online retail presence in Singapore and the region.

We're on the lookout for Retail Associates to join our team known amongst the team as Brand Crew, you will play a vital role in providing a memorable store experience. A great conversationalist, we love an easygoing, personable character that people would naturally gravitate to.

Job Summary

Brand Crew are the retail face of Beyond The Vines. The main focus of this job would be providing radical service to the faces that we encounter. They'll be an expert on all our products and daily store operations. Working in tandem with our Store Managers and Brand Leaders, our Brand Crew will be working on the floor to always keep the stores buzzing!

Responsibilities include:

• We truly believe in providing radical service for raving fans, that means customer service that goes beyond fulfilling basic needs or expectations.
• Understand our products inside out and through genuine conversations, you are able to recommend products to support what our community is looking for.
• Understand and execute the daily technical operations of the store such as POS (point of sale) management, inventory stocktake, stock management, and upholding visual merchandising standards.

Attributes we look out for:

• Proficient in verbal English with great communication and people skills. Being bilingual is a plus!
• A friendly and outgoing disposition, we love a team player!
• Proactiveness and an ability to think smart on one's feet.
• Pressure won't get the best of them! A calm composure when put in challenging situations is a great character trait we look out for.

Requirements for full-time role:

• 40 hours per week.
• Flexibility of doing opening and/or closing shifts.
• Prior retail experience is not required but preferred.

Requirements for freelance role:

• Available to work a minimum of 2 weekdays, 1 weekend (at least 21 hours).
