Job Summary
You will load and unload goods according to delivery orders, ensure safe handling and dispatch of products, and deliver items to customers safely and on time. You will also maintain clear communication with your supervisor and provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload goods onto vehicles accurately following delivery orders
- Handle goods safely during receipt, retrieval, and dispatch to prevent damage
- Deliver goods to customers safely, courteously, and within scheduled times
- Maintain excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally during deliveries
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and safety during delivery tasks
- Report operational issues promptly to your immediate supervisor for resolution
- Read and interpret invoices in English and Tamil to verify delivery details
- Navigate Singapore Islandwide roads efficiently to complete deliveries on assigned routes and schedules
- Inspect products before delivery to ensure they are in good condition for customers
- Assist with ad-hoc duties as assigned to support team operations
- Work assigned shifts, including night or day shifts, to meet delivery schedules
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Possess a Class 3 driving license with a minimum of 2 years experience in Singapore
- Have at least 1 year of relevant delivery experience
- Be physically fit to perform loading, unloading, and delivery tasks
