Job Summary
We seek a hands-on Retail Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, enhance customer experience, and drive sales performance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily retail operations to ensure efficient and smooth store functioning
- Deliver engaging customer service by addressing enquiries and managing personalised and bulk orders
- Achieve sales targets by promoting retail and customised products
- Supervise and guide retail staff to maintain productivity and service standards
- Maintain store presentation, merchandising standards, and cleanliness to enhance customer appeal
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely stock replenishment
- Assist in tracking sales data and preparing basic reports to inform business decisions
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment
- Enforce adherence to company SOPs and operational processes
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in gifting, lifestyle products, or customised items to better understand customer needs
- Bilingual proficiency (English + another language) to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and retail store operations
- Previous supervisory experience in retail environments
- Ability to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays
