This role offers an excellent opportunity to take on greater responsibility within corporate advisory, working across a range of restructuring, insolvency and forensic engagements. You will manage the day-to-day execution of assignments, working closely with senior team members on matters involving financially distressed businesses, stakeholder negotiations and asset recovery.
The role involves active participation in client meetings, stakeholder liaison, and the preparation of correspondence, reports and presentations.

You will also drive analytical and investigative workstreams, including reconstructing complex accounting records from incomplete information, undertaking company analysis and financial modelling, and attending to statutory and compliance matters for insolvency engagements. This position is well suited to a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical foundation who is ready to take ownership of workstreams and develop their commercial acumen in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day execution of restructuring and insolvency engagements, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and client personnel
  • Liaising with stakeholders, creditors and other advisors, and managing communications across workstreams
  • Preparing correspondence, reports and presentations with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision
  • Reconstructing complex accounting records from incomplete information and identifying anomalies or areas of concern
  • Undertaking investigative work for the benefit of recovering assets for the insolvent estate
  • Participating in and contributing to client meetings
  • Conducting company analysis, including financial modelling where necessary
  • For insolvency matters, attending to statutory and compliance matters
  • Other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy, or other professional accounting qualifications recognised by ISCA
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in insolvency/restructuring and/or external audit
  • Positive attitude with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and take ownership of workstreams
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with clients and stakeholders
  • A strong team player who can also mentor and guide junior colleagues
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
