Key Responsibilities
- Support the Assistant Restaurant Manager and Restaurant Executives in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow and positive member experiences.
- Supervise service staff on shift, coordinating table assignments, service sequencing, and manpower deployment during operating hours.
- Lead by example in delivering warm, attentive, and culturally appropriate service in line with Chinese dining etiquette and service standards.
- Guide and support Restaurant Executives and service crew on the floor, ensuring service quality, cleanliness, and professionalism are consistently upheld.
- Conduct pre-service briefings and support shift handovers to ensure the team is aligned on service requirements and expectations
- Handle guest feedback and service issues professionally, providing first-level service recovery and escalating matters where necessary.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely dish delivery, correct serving sequence, and smooth operations during peak periods.
- Monitor table setup, dining area presentation, and service readiness throughout service periods, taking prompt corrective action where required.
- Ensure strict compliance with food hygiene, safety, cleanliness standards, and the Club's policies and SOPs.
- Support basic operational controls, including stock availability checks, service readiness, and reporting of operational issues.
- Coach and guide junior staff and new joiners through on-the-job support to maintain consistent service standards.
- Perform and support other operational duties any other duties as assigned by the Management to support smooth Chinese restaurant and F&B operations.
Requirements
- Friendly and approachable with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and a hands-on attitude.
- Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling is an advantage.
- Able to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Previous F&B or customer service experience is a bonus, but not a must.
