Job Summary
The Higher Restaurant Manager will oversee the daily and strategic operations of the entire restaurant, ensuring superior guest service, optimal staff performance, and profitable financial results. This role reports directly to the owner/CEO and holds full P&L responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to guarantee quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to maximize team productivity.
- Develop and implement revenuegrowth and costcontrol strategies, including inventory management and budgeting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations for a clean, safe environment.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely, accurate preparation of menu items.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly to maintain a positive dining experience.
- Analyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing on promotions that enhance the restaurant's brand and attract diners.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 + years of progressive restaurant management experience, preferably in fullservice or ethnic cuisine settings.
- Proven ability to lead both frontofhouse and backofhouse teams and manage all operational facets.
- Strong financial acumen - experience handling budgets, forecasting, and P&L statements.
- Excellent customerservice orientation and problemsolving skills.
- Knowledge of healthcode regulations and best practices in food safety.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a Bengali or SouthAsian restaurant.
- Bilingual (English + Bengali) is a plus.
