Restaurant Manager & Head Chef (Japanese Yakiniku Restaurant)

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager & Head Chef to lead our Japanese-style yakiniku restaurant.
The restaurant features counter seating on the first floor for solo diners and table seating on the second floor for families and groups.

In this role, you will be responsible for both restaurant operations and kitchen management, taking the lead in driving the success of the business.

Our company also operates an izakaya, sushi restaurant, and bar nearby, creating a dynamic environment with frequent collaboration and communication across multiple outlets.
This is a rewarding position for someone who can lead a team, coordinate across locations, and continuously improve both food quality and customer experience.

We are looking for a passionate leader who can elevate the restaurant and create an outstanding dining experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage overall operations of the yakiniku restaurant
  • Prepare and oversee yakiniku menu and kitchen operations
  • Lead, train, and manage staff members
  • Coordinate and communicate with other restaurants within the group

Requirements

  • Experience in cooking at a yakiniku restaurant or similar establishment
  • Experience in restaurant management is preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication skills for multi-outlet coordination
  • Ability to communicate in basic Japanese
