Job Scope:
As a Hostess/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, creating a welcoming and professional first impression. You will manage front desk operations efficiently while ensuring high-quality customer service for both English and Mandarin-speaking customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, guest inquiries, and seating arrangements.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and walk-in inquiries professionally.
- Provide accurate information about the company's services, promotions, or ongoing events.
- Assist in managing appointment schedules and guest flow during peak hours.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized reception or waiting area.
- Communicate clearly and courteously with customers in both English and Mandarin.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments or team members for smooth operations.
- Perform administrative support duties such as filing, data entry, and documentation when required.
Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage guest expectations calmly under pressure.
- Presentable and professional appearance.
- Prior experience in a customer service, receptionist, or hospitality role is an advantage.
