  • Should have expert knowledge and experience in Tandoor and North Indian dishes.
  • Preparation, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty
  • Prepping and preparing food materials (mixing dough and flour, preparing meat, cutting vegetables, etc.)
  • Experience in North Indian varieties of food - Prata, Naan, Pav Bhaji, Dhokla, Variety rices, all varieties of Chutney and North Indian chats.
  • Assist with stock ordering and monitoring procedures.
  • Should have knowledge in using various spices and herbs in preparing dishes.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health & safety at all times.
  • To prepare ingredients for next day menu.
  • Demonstrate excellent food preparation practices, portion control and end to end food production.
  • Perform any reasonable duties as required from time to time in order to contribute to the achievement of business aims and objectives.
  • Support the Head Chef in the introduction of new seasonal dishes.
  • Cascade your knowledge and expert cooking to all kitchen staff.
  • Able to prepare orders in a short span of time.
  • Should be ready to work in any shifts or in split shifts and rotational weekly off.
